Protected infrastructure intelligence
Privacy is part of the evidence contract.
AssetGuard connects people, properties, scans, field evidence, repair decisions, and NEDD deliverables. This policy explains what SlabWorx collects and how those records remain controlled.
Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to the AssetGuard website, iPhone and iPad app, client portals, assessment requests, and authorized AssetGuard connections operated by SlabWorx LLC. New England Drone & Data (NEDD) capture services may provide evidence to an AssetGuard record when a customer or authorized operator requests that workflow.
AssetGuard is designed for authorized infrastructure documentation and contractor-led decision support. Customers are responsible for having the right to capture, upload, or share the people, property, and project information they provide.
Data we collect
Account and contact information
Name, business name, email address, phone number, account or workforce user ID, role, authentication state, and support or sales communications.
Property, project, and field information
Physical addresses, optional precise location, site and zone identifiers, work descriptions, condition observations, measurements, notes, estimates, report versions, repair records, and before-and-after verification.
Capture and evidence data
Photos, video, audio or voice notes, documents, annotations, LiDAR or RoomPlan output, depth and confidence frames, meshes, camera calibration and pose, environmental scans, device or capture metadata, thermal or GPR references, and NEDD evidence manifests.
Device, purchase, and operational data
Device identifiers needed for app functionality or security, subscription or purchase status when a paid plan uses Apple services, sync and upload receipts, timestamps, file sizes and hashes, authorization records, diagnostic events, and security logs. AssetGuard does not use third-party advertising trackers in the current app.
Website requests
When you submit an assessment, portfolio, NEDD, or partner request, we collect the information entered in the form and the campaign or source fields attached to that request.
How we use data
- Authenticate authorized users and enforce workforce, property, project, and role permissions.
- Create and maintain identified asset records, field captures, reports, estimates, repair scopes, and outcome evidence.
- Provide requested assessments, NEDD capture services, support, scheduling, client delivery, and service communications.
- Store, synchronize, process, back up, export, and recover records according to the customer’s plan and settings.
- Protect users, evidence, SlabWorx systems, and the public from misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or unsafe reliance.
- Comply with applicable law, contractual duties, and valid legal process.
AssetGuard does not sell personal information and does not use captured infrastructure evidence for third-party targeted advertising.
AI and learning contributions
AI-assisted condition suggestions are marked unverified until reviewed. Signed-in project scans are not used to improve SlabWorx models unless a separate contribution is accepted. An accepted de-identified contribution excludes account identity, workforce and CRM identifiers, property address, precise location, voice notes, and documents. RGB imagery requires separate consent. Service providers may process authorized inputs only to deliver the requested function.
Your controls and rights
- Camera, microphone, photo-library, and location access remain subject to Apple permission controls and are requested only for corresponding features.
- Supported raw-evidence upload, cloud retention, and optional contribution settings can be controlled in the app or through the applicable account plan.
- You can request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal, safety, and contractual retention requirements.
- Standalone users can request account deletion in the app. Local project deletion and Apple subscription cancellation are separate controls.
- You can withdraw consent for future optional processing. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing that already occurred lawfully.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and may appeal a denied request. SlabWorx will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Retention, security, and transfers
We retain account, project, evidence, transaction, and support records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, an active customer relationship, warranty or verification history, dispute resolution, safety, or applicable legal duties. Retention can vary by record type and customer agreement.
AssetGuard uses encrypted HTTPS transport, protected app storage, Keychain-backed credentials, expiring access grants, role-scoped authorization, evidence hashing, backup controls, and service-provider access restrictions. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe an AssetGuard record or account has been compromised.
SlabWorx and its providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, using safeguards required by applicable law.
Children
AssetGuard is a business and infrastructure service not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another reasonable channel.
